Karina negotiates on behalf of the Syndicat des employés la Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse (Union of Employees of the Human Rights and Youth Rights Commission) in the renewal of collective agreements. She has worked at this for nearly ten years, in particular as a union advisor and as a representative of various joint committees. She also works as a senior legal advisor for the research department of the Human Rights and Youth Rights Commission. Karina is known as an expert in the rights of children, Indigenous people, handicapped people and women.
