Midanik, Sarah

Sarah is the Executive Director of the Native Women’s Resource Centre of Toronto. She is from northern Alberta and comes from both Cree and Métis bloodlines. She is passionate about building capacity within the Indigenous community and is currently the Strategic Director of the Aboriginal Professionals Association of Canada and the Co-Chair of the Indigenous Place Making Council. Sarah also sits on a number of local advisory councils and circles in Toronto, including the Toronto Indigenous Health Advisory Circle, Toronto Aboriginal Social Services Council and the Aboriginal Affairs Committee for the City of Toronto.
