Dr. Marianne Mader is the Executive Director for the Canadian Association of Science Centres (CASC), one of the largest membership-based associations of informal science learning organizations in Canada, collectively reaching more than 8 million citizens per year. Dr. Mader is also the co-founder of Steamlabs, a non-profit education-innovation organization. A Planetary Scientist with over 13 years of research and field experience, Marianne has studied some of the oldest rocks on Earth in Greenland, collected meteorites in Antarctica, and has helped plan and execute simulated lunar and planetary exploration missions. Dr. Mader is committed to building a thriving science and innovation culture in Canada.
