Leaman, Jarret

Jarret is Anishinaabe (Ojibway) from Magnetawan First Nation. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration specializing in Human Resource Management from Trent University, and a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations through the School of Policy Studies at Queen’s University. Jarret is currently the Senior Administrative Officer at the Aboriginal Institutes Consortium, a non-profit membership organization that comprises nine Aboriginal controlled post-secondary education and training institutes in Ontario. Previously, Jarret was the Executive Director of the Aboriginal Professional Association of Canada and the Director of Programs and Strategic Initiatives at the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.
