Maryse manages all activities pertaining to the safeguarding of the ecological and commemorative integrity of Quebec’s historic sites for Parks Canada, for the benefit of generations to come. She was previously Ombudsman, offering independent, informal and confidential services to address work-related concerns and promote organizational health and integrity. Throughout her career, Maryse has dedicated her community involvement around the fields of academic excellence, employment and integration. She joined the Federal Government in 2007 by contributing to Government-wide initiatives related to Human Resources management. Maryse holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology and another in Social Work. She lives in her hometown of Ottawa-Gatineau where she appreciates and views the many green spaces as opportunities to relax and recharge.
