Dr. Denyse Lafrance Horning is a marketing professor at Nipissing University. Her career began as a sales representative with Johnson & Johnson and progressed to various brand management roles. In 2007, she embarked on a significant career shift and redeployed her marketing expertise to the classroom. She earned a PhD in the area of sponsorship marketing and is engaged in sport marketing and experiential learning research.
Denyse works closely with entrepreneurs through the Business Centre and is very involved in sport as a member of the University Athletic Advisory Board, a hockey coach and player, and a mentor with the Coaches Association of Ontario. In 2015, Denyse was recognized with the Hockey Canada Hero of Play award.
