Kraychuk, Philip

Phil is the Director of Health and Safety for the United Food and Commercial Workers Union (UFCW) Local 832 in Winnipeg. Phil was hired as a full-time Union Representative in 2010 and after three years in the servicing department moved into his current roll where he oversees all matters related to health and safety and workers compensation for the local across the Province. Phil also negotiates a number of collective agreements. Previously, Phil was an Occupational Safety Presenter with SAFE Workers of Tomorrow, providing education and awareness training for youth entering the workplace. Phil was born in Norway House and at a young age moved to Winnipeg, where he currently resides. He is an avid golfer and sports enthusiast and also enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
