Chouinard, Rebecca

Rebecca is the Executive Director of a quasi-judicial Board that regulates the use of land and water in the Northwest Territories. She has been involved in resource management throughout Canada and internationally for over 15 years. Rebecca has a degree in Environmental Geoscience, and a Master’s of Applied Science in Mining Engineering. Rebecca works towards creating a more holistic and progressive approach to resource management, particularly in the mining sector, that respects local populations and future generations. She strongly values building relationships – understanding perspectives and learning from one another. She also values time with her family outdoors.
