Burgart, Deanna

Walking in many worlds, Deanna has a passion for closing gaps between different viewpoints and empowering others to achieve their goals and career aspirations. Deanna has over 17 years’ experience in risk management and compliance in the petroleum industry. An adoptee from the Fond du Lac First Nation in Northern Saskatchewan, born in Alberta, she spent her formative years in Singapore. Cross-cultural communication has been a large part of her life from a very young age. A natural leader, Deanna has dedicated much of her free time mentoring and teaching others. As an Indigenous engineer, or Indigeneer™, Deanna is passionate about diversity, inclusion and sustainability.
