Sergeant Bennett currently works for the Blood Tribe Police Service. Jim is married to Bailey, and has 4 children. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing hockey, and volunteering. Jim was Officer of the Year in First Nations Policing in Canada in 2014 and has been given many cultural honours and rights from Elders from the Blood Tribe, and he is also an advocate of Reconciliation. Jim has been given a headdress, a Blackfoot name, is a tipi owner, and has been culturally adopted by 14 families within the Blackfoot Confederacy.
