Erum is a builder, creator and tree-shaker. She is Director of Enforcement with the Association of Professional Engineers and GeoScientists of Alberta (APEGA). As well, she is Councillor with the Kananaskis Improvement District (KID). Professionally, she is an Engineer with a degree from Queen’s University and has experience building great sustainable communities. She volunteers her time to her children’s school and the Islamic Family and Social Services Association (IFSSA) which focuses on refugee support and creating healthy communities. She’s received recognition as a Top 40 Under 40, The Next 10 by Alberta Venture and A Woman Who Inspires. Recently, she received Queen’s University Engineering Excellence: 125th Award.
