As a nurse in rural and urban British Columbia since 2004, Teri has additionally held the elected role of Regional Council Member, representing the North West of British Columbia since 2016. Her region includes a varied demographic population in a vast geographic area comparable in size to France. Teri has diverse experience in a variety of healthcare settings in addition to experience and advocacy work with marginalized people and at-risk youth. As a nurse with an invisible disability, Teri also spends a fair bit of her time advocating for inclusivity in the workplace and our communities. In her free time, Teri is a competitive cosplayer, and enjoys volunteering with a number of organizations and boards including work with low-barrier shelters, Pride societies, BC SPCA and wildlife shelters.
