Brinder’s interests are based upon the tenets of giving back to the community, sports related activities and spending valuable time with his family. In his personal and work life, he is actively involved within his community, volunteering his time in different capacities/roles within many various sports organizations, boards and committees. As a result of Brinder’s continuous dedication, he was honored to have received many accolades; most notably the Founder’s Award from Seva Food Bank (2019) and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Award (2012). He also completed his Masters in Leadership from the University of Guelph (2014) and received his 20-year exemplary service award (2018) as an employee of the Peel Regional Police.
