Mark was born and raised in Cross Lake and is a member of Cross Lake First Nation (Pimicikamak) and resides in Thompson with his wife and five children. Mark has worked for Manitoba Hydro for 19 years. He has held numerous positions in various areas of the corporation that include negotiations, community relations and customer service. Most recently, Mark has been acting Divisional Manager for the Indigenous Relations Division, which is the focal point for Manitoba Hydro’s management of all internal and external Indigenous issues. Mark is currently the Community Relations Manager for Manitoba Hydro responsible for all aspects of field operations and program delivery related to legal obligations, corporate policy and community adverse affects agreements. He is an active traditional resource user which includes trapping, fishing and hunting.
