Jaime is a citizen of the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation. She is the Director of Indigenous Governance, Law and Policy at File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council with a particular focus on strengthening First Nations’ governance through nation-building. Her speaking engagements have included presentations at the Northern Museum of Arizona, Wesleyan University, Yale Law School, Arizona State University, George Washington University, many Indian Tribes and various other museums and professional societies. She is an active volunteer as team captain for the running team Frybread Flyers, Muskeg Lake Election Committee, International Repatriation Working Group, and board member of the Civic Museum of Regina and Ranch Ehrlo Society. Jaime holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto and LL.M and S.J.D. from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law in Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy.
