Henderson, Royse

After organizing a drive to unionize her workplace in March 2012 with two colleagues, Royse decided to continue her involvement in union affairs. Beginning as secretary-archivist on the executive committee and then becoming Interim President starting in May 2013, she was confirmed as President at elections in December 2013. In 2014, a desire to become more heavily involved in her union (the Conseil provincial des affaires sociales) led to her election as a member of the insurance committee and later as the Union’s Provincial Vice President in June 2015.
