A common thread in Darren’s life is a desire to make the world around him a better place. An Ontario public servant, he has provided advice to Government on significant social policy and transformation initiatives. Darren’s team promotes policies to create complete communities, curb urban sprawl, protect the environment and support economic development. Darren chairs the board at Dixon Hall, a non-profit serving Toronto’s St. James Town and Regent Park communities. An avid amateur athlete, Darren joined Team Canada at the duathlon world championships in 2016 and will again in 2017. Darren holds a journalism degree from Ryerson University and certificates from Schulich School of Business EEC and Osgoode Law School PD.
